It all began as a small family business in 1945 and quickly turned into a regional supplier of forestry tools in the following years. Today, the market’s leading wholesale company with headquarters in Germany and subsidiaries in eleven European countries carries more than 12.000 items.
GRUBE customers are forestry and timber professionals, companies specializing in horticulture or landscape gardening, community garden and cemetery offices, private gardeners as well as all those who have made it their job or passion to care for trees, nature and the environment.

Today, forestry work is a rather mechanized business, carried out by specialized enterprises using highly specialized forestry equipment and machines. At the same time, nature and especially forests become increasingly important – not only in an environmental context, but also as a place where people spend time working, hunting, watching wildlife or simply enjoy being out in the woods.
Although GRUBE has grown considerably over the years and acts as a global player today, the principles established by the founder Waldemar Grube are still valid to this day and will be for the future.
